Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Scriptonius ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Scriptonius is a daily reflection app that provides one question per day for 365 days. The App generates AI-powered weekly insights based on your answers and offers the ability to create a printed book of your year's reflections.

3. Subscription & Payments

Scriptonius offers an auto-renewable monthly subscription managed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App (your answers and reflections). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and use your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services, including AI insight generation.

5. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate weekly insights based on your answers. AI-generated content is provided for informational and reflective purposes only. It should not be considered professional advice (medical, psychological, or otherwise).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Share your account or device access with others for the purpose of circumventing subscription requirements

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scriptonius shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
